About Me

I hold an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a Master of Public Health from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the State University of New York at Cortland.
My Journey to Wellness
Growing up in an Italian-American household, meals were full of laughter, conversation, arguing (just a little!), and connection. Holidays were loud, joyful, full of pasta, and many people squeezed around the table.

At 13, I became a vegetarian. Over time, and with the support of my parents—my mom found ways to make a vegetarian meal for me each night (her fake meatballs, known as featballs, are legendary)—I began learning what it meant to nourish myself in a way that reflected my values and supported my overall wellbeing.

During Peace Corps in Thailand, I fell in love with cooking, local markets, and experimenting with herbs and spices. Sharing meals with friends transformed an unfamiliar place into one of warmth and connection. I gained a deeper understanding of the healing power of plants and the importance of holistic wellness.

Despite this, I found myself stuck in high-stress jobs, relying on unhealthy habits to cope, and feeling disconnected from my body and my core self. I felt unbalanced and could no longer trust my intuition.

That began to change when I rediscovered the joy of mindful cooking and embraced a more intentional lifestyle. What started as personal healing has become my passion for guiding others to reconnect with themselves through food, wellness, and balance. Now, my weekends are filled with recipe books, cooking, and hiking with Moose, the best friend a girl could ever have! I enjoy comparing nutrition facts and ingredients at the grocery store and chatting up farmers at the market.
Cooking and eating mindfully have become a way of life and sharing that with others is one of my greatest joys. I believe food is nourishment, connection, and a way to care for ourselves and the planet.
